“Bauhaus Time Capsule”: Family Tour (German)

An interactive journey through time combining listening, creating, and remembering

Imagine traveling back 100 years and attending the Bauhaus school in Dessau. Are you an artist like Marianne Brandt, creating unusual collages? Do you enjoy photography and taking enigmatic photos like Lucia Moholy? Would you rather weave colorful carpets and spend your time in the textile workshop like Gunta Stölzl? Or are you passionate about the stage and designing unique costumes like Oskar Schlemmer?

Get to know the Bauhaus artists on a tour of the exhibition and learn how the Bauhaus still influences our everyday lives today.

We will enter a kind of time capsule—an acoustic experience between history and the present. Through audio pieces, guided tours, and simple little design tasks, you will discover the diversity of materials and forms of expression used in teaching at this school.
